Transfer from your hotel to kayak launch dock, meet your guide and set off for Uros floating Islands through the reeds. Disembark on the reed Island, learn from your guide about the process of building and their origin.
Onboard the speed motor boat and leave Uros for Taquile. On Taquile hike and have lunch with Lake View. In the late afternoon on the way back from Taquile you’ll step on the Uros Island once again to get in your kayak and return to Puno paddling.
Your friendly driver will meet you at your hotel/airbnb in Puno city and take you to the Isla Esteves kayak launch place on a 15-minute car ride. Upon arrival, find the kayak equipment and get in it right away after a brief explanation about the route.
Your guide will take you through the waterway, going through the reed carpeted section on your way to the Uros floating Islands, located within Lake Titicaca National Reserve 50-min by kayak.
Following this unique experience, you’ll be transferred by a small engine boat from the first reed floating Island to the second commercial crowded place to onboard the group speed motor boat for Taquile Island ride.
Your new group guide will lead you through the stone paved trail to the restaurant, along the way you’ll enjoy a gorgeous landscape and learn about its fascinating tradition.
The group fast motor boat trip will come to an end when you are dropped off at the Adventist Island, from where your private kayak guide will be waiting for you. You’ll do a final paddle from Uros back to Puno.
