Uros Islands Cultural Experience shows you the process of building their islands and daily life while smoothly riding a reed raft, and return to Puno after a tasty lunch.
You’ll get an authentic taste of life on Uros reed floating Island on Lake Titicaca, taking part of their daily activities of a friendly and hospitable local family in their modest reed homes, and sharing their food.
Uros Islands Cultural Experience benefits both you as a guest and the islanders. You get a genuine insight into life on the island, eating with the family, meeting other villagers.
You'll be collected from your hotel in Puno city and transferred to Puno port on a 15-minute drive.
Onboard your private engine boat and begin your voyage to the 30 min away journey to Floating Islands.
Meet the local inhabitants, and take a typical reed boat. Learn about the origin, history and the process of building reed houses and floating Islands.
Taste the local food based on Trout, Quinoa, salads, fruits dessert and hot drinks.
Following the lunch, make your way back to the same port. On arrival, transferred back to your hotel.
