Uros Islands + Taquile Speed Boat Tour is a group daily day trip from Puno to Lake Titicaca going through the touristy places but navigating less time.
A regular motorboat takes almost 3 hours in reaching Taquile Island from Puno port but joining the Taquile Fast Boat you’ll do in about 1 hour 30 minutes. Best of all you’ll get more time to spend at Uros floating Islands, hike up at Taquile, and have lunch surrounded by the Cordillera Real.
After pick-up and transfer from your hotel to Puno port, onboard the Lake Titicaca Speed Boat. The fast boat sets off for Taquile Island, stopping at the Uros floating Islands along the way.
Your guide delivers information about the Lake Titicaca facts, history and way of life of the Uros people. A local Uros islander will perform the process of building the reed floating Islands.
Arrival at Taquile Island with a 1 hour 30 minute of navigation. You'll walk up to the restaurant through the stone paved trail. Lunch based on Quinoa soup, grilled trout or vegetable omelet.
Onboard again the motor speed boat and head back to Puno city.
Upon arrival at the Puno port you'll be transferred to your hotel.
